Pelvic Health
Pelvic health concerns are common, but they are not always openly talked about. Symptoms like bladder leakage, bowel changes, pelvic pain, pressure, or discomfort with intimacy can be frustrating and sometimes isolating. Many people are unsure whether what they are experiencing is normal, or who to see for the right support.
Pelvic health is about more than just the pelvic floor muscles. It involves how the pelvis, spine, hips, abdominal wall and breathing patterns work together. When one area is not functioning well, it can influence the whole system.
At Coastal Therapies Co, Dr Page Armstrong provides individualised pelvic health osteopathic care with a whole-person approach. Appointments include a thorough discussion of your symptoms and goals, assessment of movement and musculoskeletal function, and pelvic floor assessment where appropriate. Internal assessment is offered when clinically indicated and always with clear explanation and informed consent. A chaperone may also be present during internal examinations to ensure comfort and professionalism.
Treatment is tailored to you. Depending on your presentation, this may include hands-on osteopathic care, pelvic floor retraining, support with relaxation or coordination, and practical advice to help you feel more confident in your body.
Dr Page Armstrong may help with the following conditions:
Light bladder leakage
Bladder and bowel urgency
Constipation
Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Vaginismus
Dyspareunia (pain during vaginal intercourse)

If you prefer, you may choose to reschedule if your flow is heavy or if you feel uncomfortable. Please let us know — your comfort and safety are always our priority!
